Matt is currently enrolled in school at Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) where he is studying Drafting and Architectural Design. 

Matt’s design career started professionally in Santa Barbara, where he was asked to do the conceptual designs for spec homes that were being built in Santa Barbara and Montecito, CA by a local contracting firm. Since starting to work with local contractors, Matt has teamed up a with co-worker to launch a startup company, Dropspot, LLC which designs and builds completely portable prefabricated homes and studios. 

Dropspot was launched in late 2012, with the concept of a portable pre-fabricated spot that had endless possibilities, allowing people to be creative and flexible with how they used the space. The most essential part of Dropspot, is that the structures are completely portable. They can be delivered and placed anywhere with ease, allowing Dropspot to be more versatile than any other living-area before it.
